Volleyball Recap: Oak Hill Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Oak Hill won the last time they faced Princeton and things went their way on Monday too. The Red Devils won by a set and slipped past the Tigers 3-2.

Oak Hill was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 21-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Jenna Maynor paced Oak Hill's offense, picking up 16 kills. Maynor got some help from Danielle Parsons and her 36 assists. Baylee Peters controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oak Hill's victory ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 15-20-4. As for Princeton, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12-2.

Coincidentally, Oak Hill and Princeton will both be playing Greenbrier East the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will head out to face the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
