The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lone Grove in their matchups with Plainview: they've now lost nine in a row.
Jacelyn Hammon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Plainview, scoring 21 points along with six assists and five steals. Hammon has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Emilee Hedger was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Lone Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Plainview, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Lone Grove will head out on the road to face off against Marietta at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Marietta is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Plainview, they will be playing at home against Dickson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Dickson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 388th, while Plainview is ranked 68th).
