Valencia unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They took a 21-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Ranch.
Meanwhile, Hart put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Canyon at home to the tune of 42-6. Fans of Hart have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Hart's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Pontius, who gained 116 total yards and two touchdowns. Matix Frithsmith got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Hart's victory bumped their season record to 8-0 while Valencia's defeat dropped theirs to 3-3.
