The Seton Catholic Sentinels posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They had just enough and edged Arcadia out 50-47. That's another feather in the cap for Seton Catholic, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Julian Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kj Fauske, who scored 12 points.
Seton Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Arcadia, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Seton Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Saguaro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Justice Hinds and Luke Padilla. As for Arcadia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marcos de Niza at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Marcos de Niza and three for Arcadia.
