In what's become a running theme this season, the St. Lawrence Central Larries gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Hermon-DeKalb Central 60-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory St. Lawrence Central has posted since December 2, 2023.
Ayden Beach was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Lawrence Central's points. Harlee Hartson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
St. Lawrence Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Hermon-DeKalb Central, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
St. Lawrence Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Regis Falls at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th. St. Regis Falls comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Hermon-DeKalb Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
