 Meanwhile, Harrison Central got the win against Buckeye Local  on Thursday by a conclusive  14-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Harrison Central.
 Like Garaway, Harrison Central also got a great game from a two-way player:  Mikayla Pelegreen. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Pelegreen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Pelegreen was also big at the plate,  firing off four  runs, three  doubles,  and a  triple while going 4-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Kaily Banal was a standout: she scored a  run while going 3-for-5.  Kara Blackburn was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-5.
 Garaway's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Harrison Central, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record  this season.
