Saint Francis has gone a perfect 10-0 against Presentation recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lancers will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Saint Francis will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Saint Francis is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over St. Ignatius College Preparatory on Wednesday. Considering the Lancers have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Bianka Fisher looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Malianna Liongitau was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2025. Maddie Freidin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.
Saint Francis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .683. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Presentation's offense. They lost 14-0 to Archbishop Mitty on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Presentation saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lagi Mailo, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Presentation's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Saint Francis, their record is now 22-2.
Presentation's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Saint Francis has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Presentation, though, as they've been averaging 10.1 hits. Given Saint Francis' sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Saint Francis got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Presentation by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lancers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
