Central Crossing can bid farewell to their 11-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They blew past the Cristo Rey Cougar 3-0. The Comets not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 27th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Central Crossing was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Tessa Cavey and Joclyn Marable, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Alexis Rose-Payne and her 25 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Central Crossing's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Cristo Rey, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Crossing will welcome Westerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cristo Rey, they will host Patriot Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
