Luca Santini turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Monday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Laurel is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 2-4 otherwise.

Santini's effort led Laurel over Freedom Area and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
