The Jones County Coyotes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They put the hurt on Colome with a sharp 87-65 win. The victory was familiar territory for Jones County who now have four in a row.
Jones County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jett Nix led the charge by scoring 22 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nix has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Feddersen, who scored 17 points along with five assists and five steals.
Jones County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Colome, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Jones County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lyman at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Colome, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Platte/Geddes at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
