Huntingdon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central. Huntingdon has struggled against Central recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Bishop Carroll pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-57 to Central Cambria. Bishop Carroll found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up ten fewer assists than your opponent.
Despite the loss, Bishop Carroll saw an underclassman step up: Jace Casses scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Casses pulled down eight or more rebounds. Luke Repko was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Huntingdon's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Bishop Carroll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
