Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frederick Gunn). They never let the Berkshire School Bears get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Frederick Gunn got a great performance from Trey LaMay as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts LaMay has posted since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, Travis Lapinsky was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Bailey, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
