Basketball Recap: Stevens Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Stevens put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 53-38 victory over the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 66-64 loss the last time these two teams met.

Stevens' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Richard Guerra, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 23 points and six boards. The game was Guerra's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darien Anderson, who posted eight points.

Stevens' record is now 3-0. As for SA Roosevelt, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Stevens has already played their next contest, a 62-56 loss against Smithson Valley on the 25th. As for SA Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-57 victory against Eagle Pass on the 24th.
