With no state championship games played in the northeast last week, St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) finishes the season ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps northeast region football computer rankings.
Pennsylvania had four teams ranked in the top 10 while New Jersey led the way with five. Connecticut was the only other state to have a team in the top 10.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
