With a big week, the Wildcats jumped into the top 25 in the state rankings. Millbrook moved up from No. 35 in the state all the way to No. 17 thanks to a 2-0 record over the past week. Led by manager JOSH PARDUE, the Wildcats are ranked No. 760 in the nation with an overall record of 17-7.
Leesville Road's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing eight hits and two walks to lead the league in both categories. The Pride have given up a mere 137 hits on the year, while striking out 139 opposing hitters.
Luke Emmett is the leader in that category with 54 Ks on the season.
