They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Blue Devils 62-30 on the road. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-10.
Leading Pinson Valley to victory were Austin Coner and Clyde Walters. Coner scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Walters dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. Jamison Green was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Pinson Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Mortimer Jordan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.
Pinson Valley will head out on the road to square off against Meadowcreek at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mortimer Jordan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gardendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
