Whites Creek won the last time they faced Stratford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cobras blew past the Spartans 22-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

Whites Creek got a massive performance out of Gabrielle Brooks, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Emeera Morris, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run.

Whites Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .778. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Whites Creek's record is now 2-6. As for Stratford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whites Creek will square off against East Nashville Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stratford, they will challenge University School of Nashville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
