In what's become a running theme this season, the Marquez Gladiators gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They really took it to Torres for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-29 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Marquez who now have three in a row.
Leading Marquez to victory were Anthony Ford and Lamont White Jr. Ford scored eight points along with six assists and five steals, while White Jr scored 19 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Elyjah Staples, who scored four points along with six assists and two blocks.
Marquez has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Torres, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Marquez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Torres also has no future games currently scheduled.
