Blake Porter, Vintage's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Porter was unstoppable, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three runs. He is becoming a predictor of Vintage's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-2 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).

Porter's strong effort led Vintage over Napa and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crushers are 7-2 against the Grizzlies going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
