The American History Bald Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their eighth straight defeat. They fell to Voorhees 60-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, American History still got an impressive performance from Ahmad Woodard, who scored 23 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Woodard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Edgar De Los Santos, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
American History has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Voorhees, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-14.
