After two games on the road, West Ranch is heading back home. They will take on The Castaic Coyotes at 16:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, West Ranch got themselves on the board against Golden Valley, but Golden Valley never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Grizzlies 56-0 on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point West Ranch had established a 42 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Castaic got the win against Saugus on Friday by a conclusive 39-13. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-7.
Castaic's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Anthony Vernon, who threw for 200 yards and four touchdowns, and Tristan Arriaga, who picked up 96 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Their wins bumped West Ranch to 6-3 and Castaic to 6-2.
