The Highland Huskies will face off against the Strasburg Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.
Last Tuesday, Highland strolled past Brush with points to spare, taking the game 68-54. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Beetdiggers are ranked 166th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Highland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sawyer Morgan out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 20 rebounds. Morgan has become a key player for Highland: the team is 14-1 when he posts at least ten boards, but 2-3 otherwise. Brogan Palmer was another key player, going 6-for-7 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks.
Highland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brush only three offensive boards.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Strasburg over Frontier Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Strasburg blew Frontier Academy out of the water with an 82-33 final score. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.
Highland better focus on containing Tyce Bollers and Nick Glatfelter as the pair were huge in Strasburg's win. Bollers went 7-for-10 to rack up 18 points and three steals, while Glatfelter almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Bollers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Holloway, who posted seven points and four steals.
Strasburg's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points over those games. As for Highland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.
Things could have been worse for Highland, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-53 loss to Strasburg in their previous matchup two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bollers, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Now that Highland knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
