The Hillsdale Falcons lost against the Norwayne Bobcats back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hillsdale took a 58-40 bruising from Norwayne. While losing is never fun, Hillsdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Norwayne is ranked 76th).
Braden West continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Norwayne, scoring 28 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points West has scored all season. Beau Polen was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Norwayne, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
Hillsdale will head out on the road to challenge Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsdale is coming into the contest with four straight losses on the road, meaning Waynedale will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Norwayne, they will be playing at home against Dalton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Dalton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
