The Park River/Fordville-Lankin Aggies won the last time they faced the Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans, and things went their way on Friday too. Park River/Fordville-Lankin came out on top against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg by a score of 54-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Park River/Fordville-Lankin.
Hailey Berg and Easton Larson certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Berg scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two blocks, while Larson scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Berg continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.
Park River/Fordville-Lankin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park River/Fordville-Lankin will take on Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, Drayton/Valley-Edinburg and St. John will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. St. John will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
