He has become a key player for Woodward Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Woodward Academy also got help from Zaydn Young, who showed off his sure hands for 92 receiving yards.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 14 points in total. All came courtesy of Afton Rowles: he went 3-for-3 kicking field goals for nine points, and 5-for-5 kicking extra points for an additional five.
The victory (which was Woodward Academy's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-3. As for Lakeside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Woodward Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lovejoy at 7:30 p.m. on November 15th. Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
