The Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cristo Rey 74-33 at home. The victory was nothing new for Sheridan Hills Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
Nick Johns was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Xzavier Lafleur was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Sheridan Hills Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Cristo Rey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheridan Hills Christian will face off against Franklin Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cristo Rey will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Academy for Innovative Education at 4:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
