Truman might have drawn first blood against Staley on Friday, but it was Staley who got the last laugh. Truman were given a punishing 6-56 loss at the hands of Staley. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Truman off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Staley a 1-0 record.
Next week, Truman take on Liberty North at 7:00 PM. As for Staley, they will face of against Kearney. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up next week.
