Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hargrave). They took down the Evadale Rebels 52-34 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Hargrave's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Evadale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Hargrave won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Orangefield at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Hargrave has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Evadale, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 8:00 a.m. on December 27th.
