The Spackenkill Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Marlboro Central Dukes at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Spackenkill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Linus Oudom was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Marlboro Central couldn't beat Monroe-Woodbury on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Dukes came up short against the Crusaders, falling 16-8. The Dukes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win got Spackenkill back to even at 2-2. As for Marlboro Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
