After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New London, Cheney Tech was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 84-44 victory over the Whitney RVT Owls. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Ayden Brookins was nothing short of spectacular: he went 9-for-16 en route to 24 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (63%). Mohamed Camara was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and six boards.

Cheney Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.9 points over those games. Whitney RVT has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Cheney Tech will square off against Windham RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Whitney RVT, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Derby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
