After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley Christian, Globe was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Coolidge Bears as they made off with a 19-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Macy Ballesteros, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonella Franco, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
Globe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coolidge only posted an OBP of .333.
