Memphis is 0-6 against the Cardinals since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Memphis Yellowjackets will head out on the road to take on the Dryden Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Memphis has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 29.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Memphis, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-42 loss to the Eagles.
Meanwhile, Dryden stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They really took it to Peck for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-34 victory on the road. Given Dryden's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Pirates are ranked 594th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Memphis' loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Dryden, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Memphis ended up a good deal behind the Cardinals in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, losing 64-46. Can Memphis avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
