Arcadia is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Marcos de Niza is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Arcadia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Marcos de Niza likes a good challenge.

Ryan Jimenez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also picking up 30 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 146 rushing yards. Another back making a difference was Jax Ashley, who rushed for 85 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Arcadia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 302 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in five consecutive games.
Another reason for the win was Arcadia's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Julien Olshan and Joseph Hala, who racked up five sacks between them. Arcadia got some further help from Braden Knaub: he forced one fumble and made 15 total tackles.
Meanwhile, Marcos de Niza was able to grind out a solid win over Paradise Honors on Friday, taking the game 27-14.
Arcadia better keep an eye on Jaeden Lott. He was instrumental in Marcos de Niza's win, throwing for 224 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards.
Marcos de Niza didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Alejandro Gomez, JD DuBose, and Keilor Hemmings picked up one apiece.
Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Marcos de Niza, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Arcadia has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 179.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Marcos de Niza struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 239 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
