 Far Northeast W's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jessie Matthews, who  dropped  a double-double on 28 points and 16  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Matthews has scored all season.  Steve Griffin was another key contributor,  dropping  a triple-double on 11 points, 11  rebounds,  and ten  assists.
 Several Commanders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Marcus Montez, who  scored 14 points along with four  steals and two  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Quinn Padilla, who  scored 11 points along with five  assists and two  steals.
 Far Northeast W's win  ended a seven-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-21. As for Kennedy, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost 13 of their last 16 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record  this season.
