The Wickliffe Blue Devils pushed their score all the way to 55 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Harding at home by a decisive 73-55 margin. Wickliffe was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harding apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
James Gadomski went supernova for Harding, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Gadomski has scored at least 25% of Harding's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Parsons, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Wickliffe's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Harding, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wickliffe will challenge Cuyahoga Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Cuyahoga Heights and Wickliffe are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Harding, they will head out on the road to face off against Badger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
