Cape Fear Academy and Wake Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action  on Tuesday, but Cape Fear Academy had to settle for second. They lost  3-0 to the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Hurricanes have suffered  since October 15, 2024.

 Wake Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore  Evann Curry, who  had 16  digs and three  aces. Curry is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's  played.
