Harding has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Canfield Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding will be strutting in after a win while Canfield will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Harding didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Boardman, but they still walked away with a 47-41 win. Given Harding's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Boardman is ranked 441st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Ny Coleman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Sampson, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Canfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Sunday. Their tough 79-53 loss to Green might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Canfield has suffered yet this season.
Harding is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Canfield, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Harding skirted past Canfield 58-56 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harding since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
