The St. Edmund Prep Eagles can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against St. Saviour by a score of 36-27. The victory was just what St. Edmund Prep needed coming off of a 46-24 defeat in their prior matchup.
St. Edmund Prep can attribute much of their success to MacKenzie Palisi, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Priscilla Long, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
St. Edmund Prep's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for St. Saviour, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
