Clay Center entered their tilt with Rock Creek on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Clay Center not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rock Creek between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Raimee Lipker paced Clay Center's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lipker got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 21 assists.

Clay Center's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Rock Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Clay Center and Marysville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Creek, they will be playing at home against Thomas More Prep-Marian on Thursday.
