Fredericktown is 0-5 against St. Vincent since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Fredericktown Black Cats' road trip will continue as they head out to face the St. Vincent Indians at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Fredericktown was beaten by Central 70-38. While losing is never fun, Fredericktown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 365th, while Central is ranked 33rd).
Meanwhile, St. Vincent pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Herculaneum 65-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), St. Vincent still had to take the loss.
Fredericktown has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for St. Vincent, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.
Fredericktown came up short against St. Vincent when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 61-52. Can Fredericktown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
