Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Christ the King has not had much luck with Regina Dominican recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Northtown, who are still winless after their seventh match. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Josephinum on Thursday.
Christ the King's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Northtown, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Christ the King against Northtown in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 47-15 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christ the King since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
