The Pima Roughriders stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 53-28 margin over Thatcher. Winning may never get old, but Pima sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pima to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Gann, who scored 20 points. That's the first time this season that Gann scored 15 or more points. Ady Hoopes was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
Pima pushed their record up to 17-3 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.63 points. As for Thatcher, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Pima the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Willcox at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Willcox will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Pima is ranked 27th). As for Thatcher, they will head out on the road to square off against Palo Verde at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
