The Parish Episcopal Panthers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Antonian Prep Apaches. They breezed by the Apaches on the road to the tune of 73-41. Parish Episcopal might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six contests by 28 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Maddux Reid, who rushed for 289 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Sawyer Anderson was another key player, having thrown for 312 yards and three touchdowns.
Antonian Prep's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jayce Toscano, who threw for 380 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Raleigh Strode also helped out as he racked up 186 receiving yards.
The victory was the eighth in a row for Parish Episcopal, bringing their record for this year to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Antonian Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Parish Episcopal will square off against St. Thomas Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Thomas Catholic will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Antonian Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
