Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carrollton). They strolled past the Hardin-Central Bulldogs with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 64-48. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 52-49 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The win got Carrollton back to even at 2-2. As for Hardin-Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton and St. Paul Lutheran will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardin-Central will take on Keytesville in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardin-Central is facing Keytesville at the right time seeing as Keytesville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
