 Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Friday. They walked away with  an   18-8  victory over Chinle. The Minotaur's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 The critical scores for Odyssey Institute came from  Aaron Ruano,  Jameer Turner,  and  Oscar Portillo.
 Odyssey Institute's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Turner and  Portillo.
 Kofa's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Odyssey Institute, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
