After flying high against the Mount Dora Hurricanes last Friday, the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks came back down to earth. Jordan Christian Prep took a 81-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of IMG Academy Blue. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (58), Jordan Christian Prep still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why Jordan Christian Prep lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Dan Manoka. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Manoka has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Osasjoshua, who scored 16 points.
Jordan Christian Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for IMG Academy Blue, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan Christian Prep will challenge Varsity Opponent on Saturday. IMG Academy Blue will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against North Broward Prep at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th. North Broward Prep will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
