Shawnee Mission Christian is 8-2 against Heritage Christian since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Jeydan Umberger was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Shawnee Mission Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Emily Kleczka, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 47-31 bruising from Flint Hills Christian.
Shawnee Mission Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
