The Lincoln County Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Troy at home to the tune of 81-14. Lincoln County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Dylan Sharp, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Haidyn Guckenberg was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Lincoln County's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Troy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing St. Ignatius the next time they take the court. Lincoln County will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
