The Webber Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a  58-21 defeat at the hands of Brownstown/St. Elmo. Webber was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  37-10.
 Webber's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Mariah Anderson, who  scored 6 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shayla  Brumley, who  scored 4 points.
 Webber's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 1-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webber will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christopher at 6:15  p.m.  on December 11th. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, they will head out on the road to face off against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
