Elma is 0-5 against Eatonville since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Elma Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Eatonville Cruisers at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Elma unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tenino. The match was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but Elma couldn't answer the 8 points Tenino scored afterwards.
Meanwhile, Eatonville scored first but ultimately less than Orting in their match on Friday. They fell 24-12 to the Cardinals. Eatonville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Elma's loss dropped their record down to 4-3, while Eatonville's bumped their own down to the opposite: 3-4.
Elma took a serious blow against Eatonville in their previous meeting back in October of 2021, falling 51-6. Can Elma avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
